From the Chessboard to the Tennis Court

This summer Chess-Now Ltd. conducted chess lessons at the library and tennis lessons at the local tennis court. Shown below are participants having fun on the court using the chess pieces as targets for their shots.

This summer Chess-Now combined the games of chess and tennis in a class called " From the Chessboard to the Tennis Court " at the Park District. Shown below are students having fun on the tennis court attacking the chess pieces that get in their way.

Chess and Sports are very much related. Most good players in any competition know the mental side of the games is what makes the difference between winners and losers. Relating knowledge from one game to another is a great way to build upon what you may already know. Learning to make good decisions in life, sports and business is the way to come out ahead. That is what Game, Set, Checkmate is about.
